History of Incholi

In Afghanistan there is a town named Ancholi, when Pathans from this Ancholi came to India they laid the foundation of three villages which were named Incholi after the name of their hometown, out of those three, one Incholi is this one in meerut, second of them is said to be somewhere in Barabanki district and name of third has been changed to unknown and is located in Muzaffarnagar district After pathans Incholi [Meerut] was property of two chauhan brothers, eventually one of them died and his widow was forced to give away her property by brother of her late husband,At last she asked Shekh La-al , who served as commander of Southern India Forces in Shah Jahan’s reign and was residing in meerut after retirement; to help as a brother. Shekh La-al takes her property under control and she went back to her Fathers town. Now the rivalry was between Shekh La-al and the chauhans and definitely Shekh sahib was much more powerful, Chauhans crafted a evil plan full of cowardice to murder Shekh La-al by inviting him on dinner, At dinner all hosts and guests were without weapons but as Shekh La-al arrived he understood all game of chauhans when he got the glimpse of the hidden daggers inside dinner serving clothes, without even sitting there he turned giving excuse that he left his stick outside somewhere near his fort , chauhans got it right that there plan has been smelted; they followed Shekh La-al and besides all his endeavour chauhan swords find their way through the Shekh La-al’s chest, just outside the fort gate, only a gate was there between the light of life and darkness of death and being short just a leap Shekh La-al lost the race of life; the news reached Lal Quila, Delhi, to Shah Jahan and forces marched from Delhi marking the end of chauhan dominance in incholi.
